There has been increasing community acceptance issues caused by increased establishments of renewable energy facilities in response to climate change. Despite the increased number of research on this topic, diverse research on trends about this topic are still lacking. This study aimed to analyze the research trend on community acceptance in relation to renewable energy facilities published in RISS from 2007 to December 2021 by applying text network analysis and topic modeling. The following research results were obtained: First, researchers in this field use diverse research methods and focus on analyzing current situations and policies and providing alternative solutions. Second, text network analysis suggests that local residents, local areas, acceptance, participation, etc. appeared as keywords in analyzed articles. Third, topic modeling suggests the categorization of six topics such as photovoltaic facilities in local areas, acceptance, institutional participation, offshore wind farms, citizen participation based local energy transition and renewable energy industry, and climate governance. Finally, this study revealed that future research topics in this field can include analyses on theoretical aspects, physiological aspects, and research methodologies.
