The KEI strives to develop future-oriented environmental policy that will create win-win situations for the environment and the economy. Policy directions and implementation strategies have been proposed based on research on low carbon energy policy, green industries and technologies, and clean production and green consumption. We develop and apply integrated analysis models for accurate quantitative assessments of policy impacts, and maintain an integrated information system that provides data on economic values of environmental resources to support policy decision-making.
