Establishing a Prediction Modeling System for Ecological Impacts of due to the Expansion of Development (Ⅲ)
Ⅰ. Introduction
1. Background of the Study
oFactors affecting the environment and ecosystem around us stem from a variety of human activities, including development projects. The expansion of development sites leads to damage to ecosystem habitats and functions, which in turn affects the human living environments through the spread of infectious diseases. Thus, there is a close relationship between the expansion of development sites, ecological impacts, and infectious diseases.

2. Purpose of the study
oThe Agent Based Model(ABM) for urban expansion simulation has been enhanced to simulate the expansion of the development site in Cheongju-si, and the final development site expansion is compared by predicting and evaluating the same period using SLEUTH.

oIn addition, the InVest model was employed to predict changes in the ecological environment (carbon pool, habitat quality) of Cheongju-si in the target year, based on the prediction results of the expansion of the development site.

Ⅱ. Simulation of Development Site Expansion Using ABM
1. Advanced ABM
oThe spatial scope for simulation is expanded to cover the entire area of Cheongju-si, and the types of developers are also subdivided into three categories: large, medium, and small, compared to the existing two.

oTo select a development target site, a land development trend analysis was performed using the Random Forest (RF) technique based on past land-use spatial information for the research target site, and the land development probability by 2040 was predicted using the CA-Markov model.

oScenarios are established, tak
