o The Environmental Valuation Information System (EVIS) is an online platform that has been developed and operated by the Korea Environment Institute (KEI) to provide information on the monetary valuation of environmental services and to support decision-making through the development of policy evaluation tools.
ㅇAs of 2023, it has been continuously expanding its features, with major components including the Environmental Value Database, Value Transfer Toolkit, Integrated Assessment Toolkit, and Archive.

o Research and System Development History Related to the EVIS
ㅇ(2009~2011): Conducted research on “Development of the Environmental Valuation Database and Unit Value Estimation (I, II, III)”
ㅇ(2011): Developed and launched the EVIS (1.0) to provide meta information on environmental services
ㅇ (2013): Conducted research on “Development of the Environmental Valuation Database and Unit Value Estimation (IV)”
ㅇ(2016~2023): Conducted research on “Comprehensive Study on Environmental Valuation for Integrated Environmental-Economic Assessment”
ㅇ(2018): Launched the EVIS (2.0) with updated features to improve platform accessibility by diversifying search functions and reclassifying the Environmental Valuation Database based on end-receptors such as ecosystem·ecosystem services and human health
ㅇ(2019): Developed an Integrated Assessment Toolkit for estimating the value of carbon absorption and storage services by ecosystem type
ㅇ(2020): Developed an Integrated Assessment Toolkit for calculating health damage costs due to exposure to PM2.5 in terms of premature deaths
