The KEI-PEI Bhutan SEA (Strategic Environmental Assessment) Workshop was held on July 21, 2016. The joint UNDP-UNEP Poverty Environment Initiative (PEI) which has been assisting the Royal Government of Bhutan to integrate pro-poor environmental sustainability into national, sectoral and sub-national development policy, planning and budgeting processes, and KEI which has extensive experiences and expertise in undertaking SEAs have agreed to support the country in conducting a SEA for Bhutan’s National Capital Region.
