- The Workshop on
managing risks in climate change and disasters in the Seas of East Asia jointly
hosted by KEI and KOEM (Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation) was
held on Nov. 17 and 18, 2015 at Furama Resort, Danag, Vietnam.
- Dr. Hyun-Woo Lee of the KEI delivered a keynote speech titled, “Responding to Climate
Change and Disaster Risk through Local Actions” on behalf of President Kwang Kook Park and Dr. Choong-Ki Kim spoke
under the topic, “Use of Ecosystem Service Framework to Inform Policy Decisions
on CCA and DRR.” During the working, the following themes were presented,
followed by panel discussion:
