- The KEI-IOER Joint Workshop was held to
discuss latest trends on sustainable urban development and to share the
development experiences of Germany and Korea. The participants discussed
measures to facilitate cooperation in research and investigated potential areas
of cooperation.
- In the workshop, Dr. Hoon Chang of the
KEI delivered his presentation titled, Towards
Sustainable Urban Development with Local Perspectives, Artem Korzhenevych
of the IOER spoke under the title, Climate
Change Adaptation Research for Urban and Regional Development and KEI’s Dr.
Oh Seok Kim shared his idea under the title, Answering the Challenges of Setting Carbon Emission Levels in Forestry
Carbon Offset Projects.
- The KEI members also joined the “Dresden
Nexus Conference 2015(DNC 2015): Global Change SDGs Nexus Approach” from Mar.
25 to Mar. 27, 2015 where they delivered presentations, participated in
discussions and ran a KEI PR booth.
