Annual Meeting of the British Society of Soil Science will be held on September 7-8, 2016 at the University of Reading in Berkshire,
United Kingdom. The British Society of Soil Science (BSSS) or "BS
cubed" as it is fondly known was founded in 1947 by a number of eminent
British soil scientists. It was formed
with the aims: to advance the study of soil; to be open to membership from all
those with an interest in the study and uses of soil; and to issue an annual
publication. This year the Society teams up with the Soil Security Programme
(SSP) to create an inspiring meeting for researchers and practitioners to
discuss advances in Soil science, and how we Secure soils for Society. The
conference theme will be "Soil, Security and Society"
As part of the poster session, KEI’s Chief
Research Fellow Dr. Sang-Il Hwang will present his research findings under the
title, “Strategic Environmental Impact
Assessment for Development Basic Plan Considering Complex Characteristics of
Soil”.
