The FOSS4G2016 International Conference will be held in Bonn, Germany, 24-26 August, 2016. FOSS4G is the annual global event of the Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo). The FOSS4G conference focuses on Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial. Additionally to high level technical talks four key domain topics practically connect the software with communities from neighboring domains. The key topics in 2016 are:
- Open Data
- Remote Sensing for Earth Observation
- Land information
- Disaster Management
As part of the poster session, KEI’s chief research fellow Jeong-Ho Yoon will deliver a presentation entitled, “Development of Environment Spatial Information Service Utilizing Mobile Location-Based Technology”.
