- The Project
Board Meeting and Forum of UNCDF’s Local Climate Adaptive Living Facility
(LoCAL) will be held at One UN New York from 12 - 13 Apr, 2016. The Local
Climate Adaptive Living Facility (LoCAL) of the UN Capital Development Fund
serves as a mechanism to integrate climate change adaption into local
governments’ planning and budgeting systems, increase awareness of and response
to climate change at the local level, and increase the amount of finance
available to local governments for climate change adaption.

Kook Park of the KEI and other KEI members will attend the Board Meeting where President
Park will deliver a remark on the second day. KEI as a joint research institute
is carrying out research titled “Establishment on Technical Guideline to Enhance
Climate Change Adaptive Development Plan for LDCs” in line with LoCAL.
