KEI and the Ban Ki-moon Foundation signed a MoU that backs sustainable future

The Korea Institute of Environment and the Ban Ki-moon Foundation For a Better Future, signed a MOU on October 20 (Thursday), with the aim of cooperation in the climate and environment sectors for a sustainable future.

The two organizations plan to carry out various domestic and foreign cooperation activities to respond to and resolve global climate and environmental issues.  In particular, as the first major cooperative activity, the Trans-Pacific Sustainability Dialogue will be jointly held on October 27 (Thu) and 28 (Fri) in Seoul, Korea. 

"A cooperative approach based on exchanging information and knowledge is important to respond to and resolve rapidly changing global climate and environmental issues," said Lee Chang-hoon, a president of KEI. He also said "We expect to actively contribute to the transition to a sustainable society by strengthening our cooperation in the field of climate and environment."
