KEI and Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER) has signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which will remain in effect for a period of 5 years. In addition to the ceremony, a workshop was organized jointly by KEI and IOER. Dr. Marc Wolfram (Director of IOER) and Dr. Wolfgang Wende gave presentations on research on transformative capacities of cities and regions and EU biodiversity strategies respectively. On the KEI side, Dr. Ji-Hye Jo made a presentation on her research of circular economy and cities, Dr. Kyung-Ah Koo presented her research on the establishment of the 5th National Biodiversity Strategy, and lastly, Dr. Jae-Hyuck Lee made a presentation on just energy transition.
