Manager-level Training Course in Danang
From August 15th to 23rd, KEI with Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Korea Marine Environment Corporation, and Daeyoung Engineering, jointly carried out a capacity strengthening courses on “integrated coastal and marine pollution management in Vietnam”, for the officials of Vietnam Administration of Seas and Islands (VASI). There were 20 marine pollution control managers and 22 working-level officials at this training course. Experts conveyed lectures of Korea’s advanced marine pollution control technology, to support the improvements of laws and policy for oil spills to keep the coasts clean from threats of oil, chemicals, and marine debris in Vietnam.
