Ⅰ.Overview of the Regional Environmental Status Analysis Research Group Project
1. Objectives of the project
oThe main goal of this project is to review national land development plans and current status through scientific and quantitative analysis, to support environmental assessments, and to continuously analyze and provide information necessary for local governments to establish development plans. This aims to promote sustainable land development and prevent social conflicts.
oAdditionally, the project plans to continue research for proactive and active responses to environmental issues related to spatially concentrated development projects, provide the direction to support national policies and basic development plans, and conduct and supply multidisciplinary research and analysis data.
2. Content and method of implementation of the project
oSub-project 1 aims to produce regional environmental status information for each environmental medium and to advance assessment technologies. It involves research to analyze environmental status and establish foundational systems.
oSub-project 2 involves conducting research to propose sustainable development directions based on the analysis of various development projects, examining the current progress of development projects that form the basis of environmental assessments, and devising response measures to environmental issues.
oSub-project 3 focuses on building an environmental information inventory using accumulated research findings and current status information, to assess the sustainability of national land environments a
