This is a preliminary study to develop an environmental policy inventory, which focuses on environmental health and climate change mitigation policies. The study this year is the initial step in developing a web-based inventory that will provide a wealth of information on environmental policies of other countries to Korea’s decision-makers, stakeholders, experts, and the public. In this study, we firstly defined policy categories in order to organize policies systematically, thus, to provide information on polices in a systematic and useful manner. Secondly, we collected information on policies and best practices of other countries in the areas of environmental health and climate change mitigation.
