Sustainability assessment of water infrastructure and services(Ⅶ)
Ⅰ. Background and Aims of Research
1. Research background
o Safety accidents are constantly occurring due to aging water infrastructure facilities.

o Although preventive maintenance and management of infrastructure aging is necessary, it is difficult to objectively grasp the level of aging and the safety status of facilities.
ㅇ There is a lack of investment planning and financing for rebuilding aging infrastructure.
ㅇ It is necessary to understand the status of facilities, and it is urgent to institutionalize and apply asset management based on the status of assets held by local governments and the level of service considering users.
