As part of the World Bank's WSP (Water and Sanitation Program) Korea Study Trip, officials from Pakistan and Bangladesh visited KEI to learn from practitioners the history of policies and regulations to address poverty reduction and water supply/sanitation issues in rural areas, how the rules and mandates were implemented and enforced on the ground, and the role of education on improved sanitation. Followed by an introduction of KEI, two presentations titled, "Transformation of the Water and Sanitation in Korea," and "A Path of Development of Rural Sanitation in Korea: Preliminary Assessments & Glimpse of Lessons" were delivered by KEI members during the visit.
