The Keynote speech was given by Sung Jin Kang, a Professor at Korea University. Panels discussed on the current status of SDGs in North Korea, and panels suggested that producing, collecting, measuring the objective data alongside the capacity building is the key for North Korea to paint a positive trajectory in implementing SDGs. It is obvious that SDGs are a potential avenue of opportunity for the outside world to engage with North Korea and hold the country accountable.
